As a church we’re very proud of this group and want to say a really big WELL DONE for this amazing success. They also want to say thank you to everyone who supported them through practical help, baking and extremely generous giving.

The young people involved in the service and the presentation of the cheque were: Bea Clarke, Evie Clarke, Charlie Clayton, Sophie Clayton, Brodie Dorrington, Daisy Dorrington, Rachel Green, Holly Rotchell, George Wilson and Oliver Wilson. When Laura Tomlinson from Maggie’s Oldham sent us this photo she commented,
‘What an amazing bunch they are, a complete joy! ‘
A group of our young people recently visited the Oldham Maggie’s Centre to present a cheque for £630.65 that they raised through their recent Sunday Club Charity Project.

The young people chose this wonderful charity to support after researching a range of local options. On 10th February, at the Big Net Service, you may remember that they did a presentation to the congregation about their project and then organised a series of coffee mornings to raise money.
