Sharing Our Faith

Some of us might feel a little uncomfortable reading this heading. But please don’t. Sharing our faith is not about engaging in a deep religious conversation, handing out religious tracts or quoting Bible passages at people. It’s about sharing with people our story about our Christian journey.

Think for a moment, about a time when you really felt God was with you and supporting you. How did it make you feel? Telling that story to someone is sharing your faith. You may not find that as difficult as you thought you would.

The first stage is perhaps to tell our stories to one another within the Church Family. Hopefully the way our Worship, Learning and Caring develop over the coming months will provide opportunities for us to try it out.

Then with the confidence we have gained we will be able to share our experiences with others.
